Mindful Bump is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with care, respect, and transparency.
This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how it’s used, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR).

1. Who am I:

Mindful Bump provides midwife-led antenatal education and postnatal support services in Bath, Somerset..
Courses and communications are delivered by Eleanor Davey, Registered Midwife and Founder of Mindful Bump.

2. The Information I Collect:

When you complete a booking or enquiry form, I collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email and phone number)

  • Your estimated due date

  • Partner’s name and pronouns (optional)

  • Any relevant health, accessibility, or dietary information you choose to share

  • Details about how you heard about Mindful Bump

  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)

  • If you request a discount, you may be asked to provide limited information to confirm eligibility (e.g. NHS ID, MOD number or confirmation of single parent status). This information will not be stored beyond verifying your discount request.

I may also collect limited information during follow-up communication (for example, by email or WhatsApp) to support your booking and postnatal period.

3. How I Use Your Information:

I use your information to:

  • Manage your booking and course attendance

  • Communicate with you about your course (dates, details, and reminders)

  • Provide postnatal support and information for up to four weeks after your course ends

  • Process payments securely

  • Keep internal records of bookings and transactions

  • Improve my courses and services based on anonymised feedback

Your information will never be sold, shared, or used for marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Communication:

You may receive emails or WhatsApp messages directly from me about your booking, course updates, or short-term postnatal support.
You will not receive marketing or promotional messages unless you have explicitly opted in to do so.

5. How Your Information is Stored:

Your details are stored securely in password-protected systems.

  • Form submissions are received by email through Squarespace.

  • A limited record of bookings may be kept in a password-protected spreadsheet or folder.

  • Payment details are handled separately and securely by Stripe - I never see or store your card details.

I retain booking records for up to two years after your course, after which they are securely deleted.

6. Cookies:

Squarespace uses cookies to help the website function and to collect anonymous analytics data about visitor activity.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

7. You Rights:

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data (where legally permitted)

  • Withdraw consent for communication at any time

8. Third Parties:

Your data may be shared with:

  • Squarespace, which securely processes form submissions and site data

  • Stripe for secure payment processing

  • WhatsApp, for postnatal communication (if you choose to join the group)

All third parties comply with UK GDPR and have their own privacy policies which you can view on their websites.

9. Changes to This Policy:

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in practice or legal requirements.
The most recent version will always be available on my website.
